The Law firm of Gibbons, Del Deo, Dolan, Griffinger & Vecchione selected Information Architects to provide migration services for their Microsoft SMS and Citrix Presentation Server platforms to the latest release of each product suite.

New tools to support a changing environment

Gibbons, Del Deo, et al. has embarked upon the development of a new desktop operating environment to support a suite of new applications within the firm.  To keep pace with the new desktop deployment, Gibbons had to divert some attention to their aging Microsoft SMS 2.0 environment and Citrix Presentation Server 3.0 server farm.  To aid with these upgrade, Gibbons selected Information Architects to lead these efforts and help to integrate the new and legacy platforms during the transition.

Disaster Recovery is Key Focus

The implementation of a new Citrix environment also encompasses a firm-wide effort to provide application solutions which are more resilient to environmental outages.  To assist the firm with this disaster recovery planning, IAI performed extensive protocol analysis and load testing of their application suite to determine how best to provide remote access in a distributed collocation environment.
