Information Architects Announces Key Partnership

Lake Hopatcong, NJ
July 1, 2006

In an effort to further strengthen and enhance its position as a leading provider of secure, managed network services to businesses of 100 to 1000 employees, Information Architects has entered into a new partnership with Mirage Networks of Austin, TX.

"We've had great success at the network edge using the best-in-class products from SonicWALL to provide unified threat management and remote access" says Eric Burke, CEO of Information Architects.  "Mirage allows us to expand this same level of protection to nodes on the inside of the network using some of the most unique behavioral monitoring tools on the market.  With the advancement of Wi-Fi, wireless-enabled PDA's, fax machines and other IP devices, the number of threats continues to expand inside the network as much as outside.  The Mirage products enable us to detect unusual behavior, enforce network security policies, and thwart would-be attacks with an agentless endpoint security appliance."

Day-Zero Threat Protection is Paramount...

Mirage’s behavioral approach to threat protection means that no endpoint agents or signatures are required to catch even new, day-zero threats – those for which a signature or patch is not yet available.  Unlike anomaly detection solutions, which require time to learn and baseline your network’s “normal traffic,” the behavioral profiles work out-of-the-box to provide immediate value with minimal false positives

"We look for products that are leading the way in terms of helping to secure our clients' network environments" states Frank Vizzuso, President of Information Architects.  "Since we take responsibility for managing many of our clients' networks remotely, policy-driven appliances are key to our service offering.  From our central, secure management facility, we can obtain alerts and modify security policies for all of our managed networks.  For larger organizations who perform their own network event and alert management, Mirage is a robust solution that scales to even the largest network environments."
